Cilantro Lime Rice

The
cilantro lime rice is a famous menu staple in many authentic Mexican restaurants. Stir in lime juice and fresh cilantro herbs to plain cooked rice and serve together with one of your best loved dishes.

This fabulous rice recipe is the perfect accompaniment for teriyaki chicken, beef, fishes and other shrimp menus. The flavored rice has its own subtle yet tasty flavor that definitely stands out on its own.

You are free to use any rice variety for this recipe. Long grain white rice and Basmati rice are the traditional choices but you can always transform it into healthier meal by using brown rice. The Basmati rice tends to be drier and will less likely clump together. Serve this rice recipe with fajitas, burritos, tacos, enchiladas or tostadas and you are good to go.
